On Monday night July 30, the annual Access Exeter play was held at the Fisher Theater. The play, “Selected Shorts,” was a collection of comedic stories, written by various authors. From 7 to 8:20 p.m. the audievnce enjoyed the company of more than 30 Access actors, and they covered a wide range of topics from Santa Claus to chocolate to superheroes and much more. The play attracted many parents and faculty members, as well as Upper and Access students.
“The play was very interesting and there was a variety of different topics.” said Marianna Tomazou, 14.
“I thought the play was nice and interesting,” said Sheanna Hall,13. “I really liked the last play.”
The Access play was extremely engaging, and for some of the skits, the Access actors would actually sit with the audience and perform their lines. Although each skit was only around 10 to 20 minutes long, it raised a lot of laughter from the crowd.
At the end of each sketch, the actors would bow, and a loud cheer would erupt from the audience. Many Access students, would stand and shout their friends’s names, supporting them from the audience.
